Technical features
MBT is a major acidic vulcanizing agent, with medium vulcanization speed, quasi-overspeed, multi-functional accelerator with long vulcanization flat period, giving vulcanized rubber good physical and mechanical properties. In sulfur-free yellow vulcanized compounds, MBT is used as a scorch retarder; in CR compounds, it is used as a vulcanization retarder. Alkaline accelerators such as aldehyde amines and guanidines, as well as thiuram and dithiocarbamate accelerators, are used to activate MBT. Its vulcanization temperature is low, easy to disperse in rubber, no pollution.
Application
Mainly used in IR, NR, SBR, NBR system, the manufacture of tires, tape, rubber shoes and other industrial rubber products, but can not be used as food materials.
