Technical features
PEG-4000 in rubber formulations, can adjust the acid-base balance in the formulation. Can be used as fillers (such as white carbon black, carbon black, talc, calcium carbonate, etc.) and pigments in the dispersion of the compound. At the same time, it can improve the molecular lubricity between rubber, filler, pigment and various additives. PEG-4000 can reduce or eliminate the influence of fillers on vulcanization, make all kinds of additives disperse evenly and prolong the scorch time when it is used as activating dispersant in the compound with various fillers and pigments. It can be used as a secondary accelerator to shorten the vulcanization time and improve the physical and mechanical properties of rubber products. A special network structure can be formed in the rubber to prevent the material from moving and causing frost spray. In all kinds of colored rubber products, can make the product color bright. When used in tires and rubber molded products, PEG-4000 has a good lubricating effect, making the surface of the product smoother. In the production process of natural rubber and synthetic rubber, it can also be used as an internal release agent. In addition, PEG-4000 can also be used as a matrix in the production of medicine and cosmetics industry to regulate viscosity and melting point; used as a lubricant and coolant in the metal processing industry; used as a dispersant and an emulsifier in the production of pesticides and pigments; used as an anti-static in the textile industry.
Application
PEG-4000 is used as an activating dispersant in sizes using various fillers and colorants. In all kinds of colored rubber products, the color of the products can be bright. Good lubrication for tires and rubber molded products.
