Technical features
BHT is a general-purpose phenolic antioxidant. Widely used in polymer materials, petroleum products and food processing industry. BHT is a commonly used rubber antioxidant, which has a certain protective effect on heat and oxygen aging, and can also inhibit copper damage. There is no ozone resistance alone, but it can be used with anti-ozone agents and waxes to protect against the damage of various factors of climate to vulcanizates. It can also be used as a gelling inhibitor in styrene-butadiene rubber. This product is volatile. It is easily dispersed in rubber and can be mixed directly into rubber or added to latex as a dispersion. The general amount of 0.5-3.0 parts in rubber. When the dosage is increased to 3.0-5.0 parts, it will not spray frost. This product can also be used as a stabilizer for the treatment and storage of synthetic rubber, and can be used for styrene butadiene rubber, butadiene rubber, ethylene propylene rubber, neoprene rubber and other rubber species. BHT can also be used as an effective antioxidant in other polymer materials. This product is an effective stabilizer in polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride (0.01-0.1%) and polyvinyl ether. Polystyrene and its copolymers have the effect of preventing discoloration and loss of mechanical strength. In celluloid plastics, it has a protective effect on the aging of cellulose esters and cellulose ethers caused by heat and light, and the dosage is 1%. In synthetic fibers, this product is a heat stabilizer for polypropylene.
Application
Widely used in natural rubber, all kinds of synthetic rubber and its latex. This product does not change color, also does not pollute. Used in the manufacture of white side walls of tires, white, colorful and transparent rubber and its rubber products, as well as daily, medical and health, tape, rubber shoes and other rubber products. This product can also be used as a stabilizer for the treatment and storage of synthetic rubber, and can be used for styrene butadiene rubber, butadiene rubber, ethylene propylene rubber, neoprene rubber and other rubber species.
